HILLARY CLINTON NOMINATED

It’s a moment that has been coming ever since the former Secretary of State declared her bid for the presidency back in the summer of 2015. Many saw her as the frontrunner and several predicted her to make it all the way to the Oval Office. Now the moment is here. On Tuesday, during the second night of the Democratic National Convention, the delegates pledged their support to Hillary Clinton, making her the first woman to head the ticket on a major party ticket. In Clinton’s own words, her nomination is “the biggest crack in that glass ceiling yet”. Despite the momentous nature of this occasion, there is still plenty of work to be done for the Clinton campaign. These last few weeks have seen the Democratic nominee attacked, criticized, lambasted, and everything in between by both bitter Bernie Sanders supporters and the GOP. Tuesday’s speeches were used as a platform to rebuild positive perceptions of Clinton.
