A man in Austin, Texas opened fire in downtown on the street. One person was killed and four were injured. Police reports state that the shooting took place around 2 AM, and five people were affected by it. The one fatality came in the form of a woman in her 20’s. A witness said that he was walking with his friends when the shots were fired. He described the street as complete chaos after, with people screaming and running. Investigations are ongoing, but police think they may have a lead as to the identity of the shooter. It is as yet unclear whether or not the shooter knew the victims.
