PARRIKAR DEFENDS COMMENT ON AAMIR KHAN
Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar recently made comments seeming to denigrate actor Aamir Khan’s seemingly unpatriotic nature. However, after facing considerable backlash for the allegations, Parrikar clarified his statement, saying that it was not aimed at Khan, but rather at anyone who spoke out against the country, or displayed unpatriotic attitudes. However, not many believe it. In his statement previously, Parrikar said that anyone who speaks out against India, as Aamir Khan did, needs to be taught a lesson.
