What started out as an excursion to the tallest waterslide in the world ended up as a day of mourning. Caleb Thomas Schwab, son of Republican legislator Scott Schwab was killed on the way down the Verrückt, the world’s tallest waterslide. Schwab released a statement saying that his late son “brought abundant joy to our family and all those [with] whom he came into contact with", and found comfort in the fact that “he believed in his savior, Jesus, and they are forever together now”. The authorities investigating the case have not yet released any details as to how the child died.
