TRANSGENDER ATHLETE STARS IN NIKE COMMERCIAL
Chris Mosier was the first transgender athlete to be featured on ESPN’s “Body Issue”. He has accomplished a lot on the track, and seems to be matching those successes with his newest cameo on a Nike advertisement. The commercial, dubbed “Unlimited Courage”, details what Mosier had to go through in order to secure his spot on Team USA. Despite this incredible journey, Mosier, a duathlete, will not be able to compete at Rio due to the fact that the duathlon is not an Olympic sport. However, he has paved the path for other transgender athletes to step up for their country.
