VENEZUELA CRISIS COULD AFFECT OIL

Venezuela is going through a crisis to end all crises. With the government fast running out of money, and food becoming a luxury, it seems that the South American country’s troubles are never-ending. However, the consequences of these problems are not contained to Venezuela. Economic experts believe that the troubles faced in the region could result in a tip in the balance of the oil market. Despite the current oversupply of oil, a problem which resulted in plunging oil prices, a drop in Venezuela’s oil production could tip the scales toward a shortage in the market.
