US SWIMMERS DETAINED FOR QUESTIONING

One of the big stories of the Olympics, as it nears its end, is American swimmer Ryan Lochte’s account that he and three other swimmers were robbed at gunpoint by men posing as police officers. Lochte is now back in America, after having answered to questions posed by Brazilian authorities. However, increased scrutiny on the case reveals that the story may have been fabricated. Conflicting accounts from swimmers and officials alike have led Brazilian police to detain Gunnar Bentz and Jack Conger, both of whom said they were with Lochte that night, for questioning.
