Verizon is known for its commercials that always claim its superiority in the field of cellular networks. Those claims may turn out to be accurate, as an independent study conducted by RootMetrics points out. When comparing the network with its rivals through performance in urban areas, RootMetrics found out that Verizon topped the competition by a considerable margin, scoring 98 out of 100 while AT&T, which came in second place, scared a mere 51. This report may be of some help to Verizon, who are rolling out new data packages in order to eliminate concealed overage fees.
