VOLKSWAGEN TO SETTLE ON EMISSIONS
Volkswagen’s emissions scandal was one that plagued it for a long time before it went to court, and now, to settlement. The automobile manufacturer has created a plan that should, in principle, be able to compensate the dealers that were affected by the scandal. While the actual amount has not yet been revealed, the deal forbids any car dealer from polluting the air with their diesel vehicles. The details of the agreement still need to be hashed out, and the judge has been told that Volkswagen will have their settlement, details and all, ready by September.
