It looks like 49ers star tight end George Kittle is here to stay. After some speculation that the seven-time Pro Bowl selection might consider retirement following a devastating Achilles injury he suffered during San Francisco’s NFC wild card playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Kittle quickly shut it down.
Despite missing seven games during the 2025 NFL season, including San Francisco’s NFC divisional playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks, Kittle still had a solid season with 58 receptions, 634 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns. Kittle currently is 32 years old and will be entering his 10th season, but the two-time first-team All-Pro still is at the peak of his career.
