49ERS PLACE BRANDON AIYUK AND RICKY PEARSALL ON PUP LIST IN SERIES OF ROSTER MOVES

Brandon Aiyuk (recovering from ACL/MCL tear in October 2024) and Ricky Pearsall (hamstring injury) have both been placed on the active PUP list as training camp opens on July 22. Neither can practice yet, though both can attend meetings and use team facilities.

Aiyuk posted strong back-to-back 1,000+ yard seasons in 2022–23; his return is targeted for midseason, but no exact date is set. Pearsall, the No. 1 pick in 2024, missed offseason workouts and much of spring. The hamstring setback places him temporarily behind younger receivers.
