49ERS SIGN VETERAN CB ROCK YA-SIN TO ONE-YEAR CONTRACT

For the 2024 NFL season, the San Francisco 49ers have bolstered their secondary with the addition of veteran cornerback Rock Ya-Sin, as announced by the team. Ya-Sin, who has been in the league for five years, joins the 49ers on a one-year contract. The cornerback's connection with the team goes back to the 2019 Senior Bowl, where he faced off against Deebo Samuel, who would later become a star wide receiver for the 49ers.

Originally drafted by the Indianapolis Colts as the No. 34 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, Ya-Sin spent his first three seasons with the Colts. He later played for the Las Vegas Raiders before joining the Baltimore Ravens for the 2023 season. Throughout his career spanning 66 games, with 40 starts, Ya-Sin has accumulated 193 tackles, 29 passes defensed, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.
