The stage is all set for high-stakes electoral battle as West Bengal and Tamil Nadu head to the assembly elections on Thursday (April 23).

Tamil Nadu is voting in a single phase across all 234 seats, while West Bengal will vote for 152 seats in this phase. The second phase of West Bengal assembly contest will be held on April 29.
