The Athletics are looking to secure one of their brightest young stars for the long haul. The A’s have made a long-term contract extension offer to first baseman Nick Kurtz.

It comes as no surprise that the A’s already are making moves to extend the 2025 AL Rookie of the Year, who also won the Silver Slugger award in his first MLB season.
