CISF SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH NTPC TO INSTALL 3281 KW OF ROOFTOP SOLAR POWER PLANTS ACROSS 11 STATES

In an initiative to bolster renewable energy adoption, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd (NVVN) to install 3281 KW of rooftop solar power plants across 16 CISF campuses in 11 states by Oct 31.

"The 3281 KW capacity will be in addition to the 1990 KW of solar power already installed at four CISF campuses: RTC Arakkonam (Tamil Nadu), Mahipalpur Campus (Delhi), RTC Behror (Rajasthan), and 8th RB Jaipur (Rajasthan). Once the new installations are completed, the total solar power capacity across all CISF campuses will reach an impressive 5271 KW," the CISF official said.
