CONG PROMISES JAIN WELFARE BOARD

Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi, who had to cancel his rallies last week due to poor health, will lead two election rallies in Patparganj and Okhla constituencies at 4 pm and 5 pm respectively on Tuesday, said former Union minister Pradeep Jain Aditya.

After addressing a rally in Seelampur on Jan 14, Gandhi cancelled subsequent appearances due to health issues. He could not attend the event at Inderlok, followed by another at Mustafabad and Madipur last week. While the Mustafabad rally was cancelled, the rest were attended by Congress functionaries. On Monday, he visited Mhow in Madhya Pradesh, Ambedkar's birthplace, to initiate the party's nationwide ‘Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan' programme.
