CONG SEEKS 45 SEATS IN TAMIL NADU

The Congress has sought 45 seats from the DMK for the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections, but the MK Stalin-led party is hesitant to allocate more than 25, leading to a deadlock.

The ruling DMK and the Congress kicked off their long-awaited seat-sharing talks on Sunday, with Congress national general secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal visiting Tamil Nadu chief minister Stalin at his official residence in Chennai.
