The Magenta Line (Line-8) is set to become the longest corridor in the Delhi Metro network, with the highest number of interchange stations and underground sections, significantly strengthening cross-city connectivity across the National Capital Region.
The development comes following the recently sanctioned Phase-V (A), under which the Magenta Line will be extended from Ramakrishna Ashram Marg to Indraprastha via Central Vista. As part of this plan, the Indraprastha–Inderlok corridor under Phase-IV will be implemented as an extension of the Magenta Line.
