DU RELEASES SECOND SEAT ALLOTMENT LIST FOR UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS

Delhi University has released the second seat allotment list for undergraduate admissions for the 2025-26 academic session. In this round, 24,843 seats were allotted for approximately 8,000 vacant seats across various programmes.

The reason for over-allotment is strategic: to ensure that colleges don't end up with unfilled seats in the subsequent rounds. A similar approach was taken in the first round, where allotments also exceeded the number of available seats. However, the university clarified that no additional over-allotments will be made in the upcoming rounds.
