DUCLAIR SCORES 2 GOALS, BUT SHARKS FALL TO DUCKS
Adam Henrique played a pivotal role in the Anaheim Ducks' 6-4 victory over the San Jose Sharks on Thursday night, contributing a goal and two assists to help his team snap a three-game losing streak. Frank Vatrano, who leads the Ducks with 27 goals this season, also found the back of the net. Additionally, Leo Carlsson, Brett Leason, Alex Killorn, and Isac Lundestrom each scored for Anaheim.
The Ducks took control of the game late in the second period with two power-play goals scored just 66 seconds apart. Vatrano capitalized on a slap shot that deflected off the skate of the Sharks' Mario Ferraro after Kaapo Kahkonen made the initial save. Shortly after, Henrique redirected a shot from Jackson LaCombe at the point to extend Anaheim's lead to 5-3 heading into the third period. The victory marked the Ducks' third win in four games against the Sharks this season, highlighting their competitiveness in the matchup.
