FOXCONN WILL INVEST RS 1600 CRORE IN TN TO START NEW MOBILE COMPONENTS MANUFACTURING FACILITY

Taiwanese electronics giant Foxconn (Hon Hai Technology Group) on Monday signed a letter of intent with Guidance Tamil Nadu (TN’s investment facilitation entity) to establish a facility to manufacture electronics components in the state. The manufacturing facility will be established with a proposed investment of Rs 1,600 crore. It is expected to create jobs for 6,000 people.
