The San Francisco 49ers held tryouts for three wide receivers on Monday, but the spotlight shifted to the quarterback brought in to throw during the session.

While the team has not announced whether it will sign any of the receivers, the presence of the mystery QB added intrigue to the workout in Santa Clara.
