With 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy a “long shot” to play in Sunday’s matchup against the New Orleans Saints, San Francisco potentially will have to turn to veteran Mac Jones to lead.

Coach Kyle Shanahan explained just what the 49ers can expect out of the former first-round NFL draft pick. The 27-year-old holds a 65.9 percent completion percentage through his first four seasons in the NFL, so the accuracy, as Shanahan implied, is there.
