MONSOON SESSION OF DELHI ASSEMBLY FROM AUG 4

The monsoon session of Delhi Assembly will commence on Aug 4 and continue for five days. Officials said LG VK Saxena had given his approval for holding the session.

The session is likely to see key bills and policies being tabled by govt, including a bill to regulate fee hikes by private schools. Govt brought an ordinance after the approval of the cabinet on April 29, proposing strict penalties for schools involved in hiking fees arbitrarily, including losing the right to propose fee revisions. Now that the bill will be tabled in the house, it may witness a heated debate between BJP and AAP.
