RATS RUN RAMPANT AROUND VALLEJO'S FERRY BUILDING

A major rodent infestation is causing quite the stir in Vallejo, where people say rats have overrun the area near the city's ferry building. People who work near or visit the Vallejo Ferry Terminal called the infestation a health emergency.

"It's crazy," said Nahomy Brenes, a barista who works near the building. "[The rats] don't even care. They're running through your feet." Brenes said she encounters rats every morning when she arrives at work at Panama Bay Coffee. She said the rats run around in the street and outside the building in the early morning hours.
