SAN FRANCISCO EXPANDS HOMELESS RELOCATION PROGRAM

San Francisco leaders on Thursday expanded the Journey Home program, which aims to send unhoused residents back to their home communities.
According to the city's homelessness department, Journey Home is a program administered in cooperation with Glide in the city's Tenderloin neighborhood. During Thursday's event, Mayor Daniel Lurie and Health and Human Services Chief Kunal Modi announced some tweaks to the long-running program.
