A federal building in San Francisco officially has been renamed in honor of the late U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein.
On Monday morning, the 50 United Nations Plaza Federal Building officially was renamed the Senator Dianne Feinstein Federal Building. U.S. Sen. Alex Padilla hosted the dedication ceremony the site. Feinstein's family, former staff members and San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie attended the ceremony. Padilla said the new name recognizes Feinstein's decades of service to California and the nation.
