San Ramon-born Auston Matthews tallied two goals and an assist Sunday in Team USA's 5-1 blowout of Germany in men's ice hockey at the Milan Cortina Olympics.

The U.S. captain and Toronto Maple Leafs star was one of four Americans to score in the preliminary round victory.
