A Silicon Valley startup created a robot that can come up to the user’s electric vehicle and charges it. The company said it will work via an app.

Instead of waiting in line to charge, the robot, x-caddy, will find the user’s car, reach out with its robotic arm and charge the vehicle. The robot is being tested at Treasure Island. The company said it hopes to roll out other test sites soon.
