SMALL BRUSH FIRE IN SJ AND POINT FIRE IN SONOMA COUNTY

Fire season is here and emergency crews are on alert due to hot and dry conditions across the Bay Area. Crews with the San Jose Fire Department battled a small brush fire near Oakland Street off of Highway 101.

Evacuation orders were issued Sunday for the residents living on the north end of West Dry Creek Road near Lake Sonoma, down to Stang Road, as firefighters battle a vegetation fire off Stewarts Point-Skaggs Springs Road near Lake Sonoma in northern Sonoma County.
