Sundarbans are known for their tigers but now it has the highest concentration of solar panels in an area of its size compared to the rest of the world. 2 million people from Sundarbans depend on solar energy directly or indirectly according to S P Gon Choudhury, who brought solar energy to these islands in the 1990s.
