SOUTHBOUND I-680 IN FREMONT REOPENS HOURS AHEAD OF SCHEDULE

All lanes on southbound I-680 at Mission San Jose in Fremont reopened Sunday afternoon, earlier than Caltrans anticipated.

Caltrans closed a section of southbound I-680 for 55 hours this weekend to make critical bridge and pavement repairs. Around 4 p.m. Sunday, Caltrans announced all lanes had reopened 13 hours ahead of schedule.
