GOVT HAS CONSTITUTED TASKFORCE TO STUDY OF AI ON FUTURE OF WORK

Govt of India has constituted a taskforce to study the impact of AI on the future of work, union labour and employment secretary Sumita Dawra said here on Friday during an industry interaction organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Employers’ Federation of India (EFI).

Addressing industry captains, Dawra said about eight crore new jobs were created in India in the last five years as per the Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) with global capability centres and startups driving this growth.
