It's a moment the 49ers knew was likely to happen, but certainly hoped that it wouldn't. The Tennessee Titans are working to finalize a deal to hire 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh as their next head coach.

Saleh also interviewed with the Baltimore Ravens and Arizona Cardinals before meeting with the Titans on Monday, two days removed from San Francisco's 41-6 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the divisional round of the NFC playoffs on Saturday at Lumen Field.
