TRANSMISSION FIRM SKIPPER Q3 PROFIT GROWS TO RS 20 CRORE

Power transmission company Skipper Ltd announced a significant increase in consolidated net profit for the December quarter of FY24, posting a figure of Rs 20.4 crore, more than double the Rs 9.5 crore recorded in the same period of FY23. This rise in profit was supported by higher income.
Total income also saw a substantial surge, reaching Rs 803.8 crore compared to Rs 446.0 crore in the previous year. Meanwhile, expenses rose to Rs 777.4 crore from Rs 436.6 crore in the third quarter of the last fiscal year. Based in Kolkata, Skipper Ltd is a prominent player in the power transmission and distribution sector, as well as in the polymer segment.
