TWO EARTHQUAKES STRIKE SONOMA COUNTY
Sonoma County was shaken by two earthquakes Sunday, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The first was a preliminary 3.0 magnitude quake at around 8:39 a.m., according to USGS, which was centered around 4.6 miles west of Cobb and 15 miles north northeast of Healdsburg. The second struck nearby at around 2:30 p.m., according to USGS, and measured at a preliminary magnitude of 3.7. It was centered around 4.3 miles west of Cobb and 15 miles north northeast of Healdsburg.
