VETERAN GUARD ROBERT JONES SIGNS ONE-YEAR 49ERS CONTRACT IN NFL FREE AGENCY

Another veteran offensive lineman is headed to the 49ers in NFL free agency. San Francisco has signed left guard Robert Jones to one-year contract, the 49ers announced Tuesday.

The 49ers hosted Jones for a visit Monday and must have liked what they saw. Despite his neck injury that kept him out of the 2025 NFL season, Jones, 27, started all 17 games at left guard in 2024 with the Miami Dolphins and has 30 career starts to his name after entering the league as an undrafted free agent in 2021.
