The 49ers added another big name to their wide receiver room. San Francisco agreed to sign veteran wideout Christian Kirk to a one-year, $6 million contract.
The 29-year-old Kirk, in 13 games (three starts) with the Houston Texans in 2025, recorded 28 receptions for 239 yards and one touchdown. Kirk was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, and spent the first four seasons of his career in the desert before signing what was, at the time, a surprising four-year, $72 million free-agent contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars in March 2022.
