New York Federal Reserve President John Williams said on Monday the U.S. central bank's monetary policy is "well positioned" to deal with the high level of economic uncertainty facing the economy as a result of the war in the Middle East.
"The future is difficult to see, and the risks to both sides of our mandate have increased," Williams said in the text of remarks to be delivered before a gathering held by the Cynosure Group in New York City.
