WINLESS GIANTS STARTER JUSTIN VERLANDER MAKES UNFORTUNATE MLB PITCHING HISTORY

Wow, that’s wild! I can’t imagine what Justin Verlander must be going through right now. He’s obviously been a dominant pitcher for so long, and seeing a stat like 0-7 with 65 strikeouts is just mind-blowing. You wouldn’t expect a future Hall of Famer to have that kind of record, especially with that many strikeouts!

It’s tough to pinpoint exactly what’s going wrong with him this season, but maybe he’s just been getting unlucky or the offense isn’t supporting him? A 13-0 loss like the one to the Phillies doesn’t help matters either. The Giants' offense and defense could certainly be a factor here, but it’s pretty crazy that someone with Verlander's pedigree is still stuck on that zero in the win column.
