A 15-year-old suspect was arrested in connection with the stabbing of a 21-year-old man following a graduation ceremony in Daly City on Friday, authorities said on Saturday. The Daly City Police Department said a fight involving multiple people took place on Westmoor High School campus, following the graduation ceremony at approximately 4:30 p.m. They added that the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The school district initially reported several suspects were arrested, but the police department later said a 15-year-old suspect had been arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and did not mention any other arrests. The graduation ceremony was scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. Friday.
