CRICKET UPDATE ICC T20 WORLD CUP 2016

India win after WWW in last three balls

An absolute nail biting, cliffhanger in Bangalore as India beat Bangladesh by one run in a heartstopper contest in the T20 World Cup. India batted first after being inserted in by Bangladesh, and managed a none-too-convincing but fighting total of 146 for 7. All the Indian batsmen got starts but failed to build on them, with only Suresh Raina reaching 30 off 23 balls with two sixes. The Bangladesh bowlers Mortaza and Shakib Al Hasan tied down the Indian batsmen, conceding only 45 runs off their combined 8 overs. In reply, Bangladesh lost their opener Mithun quickly but recovered through Tamim Iqbal and Sabbir Rahman to reach 50 in the 7th over but just when it looked like they were consolidating Bangladesh started losing their way, losing regular wickets. Bangladesh required 11 runs off the last over of the match with four wickets still in hand, and Mushfiqur hit a couple of boundaries to whittle the target down to three runs off three balls but Bangladesh snatched defeat from the jaws of victory as they lost three wickets to the last three balls of the match, sending the Bangalore crowd into hysteria. Honestly Bangladesh lost a match they should have won comfortably. India won the match by one run but I do not have any more nails left on my fingers, have chewed them all..
