BART SERVICE RESUMES IN CASTRO VALLEY AFTER CAR REMOVED FROM TRACKS

BART service resumed Wednesday morning in Castro Valley after crews repaired track damage caused when a car landed on the tracks following a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 580 Tuesday.

Although the car was removed Tuesday evening, repairs continued into Wednesday, causing delays and single-track service between Castro Valley and West Dublin.
