BICYCLIST KILLED IN HIT-AND-RUN COLLISION IN SAN JOSE

A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run collision in San Jose early Friday morning, according to police. The collision happened around 6:15 a.m. in the area of East Capitol Expressway and Ocala Avenue. The bicyclist died from their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The collision is under investigation.

East Capitol Expressway at Ocala Avenue is blocked in all directions and is expected to remain closed while officers investigate. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes. Additional information was not immediately available.
