WHITE SOX STAR MUNETAKA MURAKAMI CELEBRATES TEAM'S PLAYOFF BERTH IN EPIC FASHION

Munetaka Murakami is keeping it "100" heading into October. The Chicago White Sox clinched a playoff berth Thursday with a 9-1 win over the Kansas City Royals, and nobody celebrated harder than their rookie first baseman.

Murakami, who is from Kumamoto, Japan, gave an epic interview during the team's clubhouse festivities. Asked by CHSN's Brooke Fletcher, and relayed to him in Japanese from interpreter Kenzo Yagi, to rate his first playoff-clinching celebration on a scale of 1-10, Murakami went above and beyond."One hundred!" he said. "No[t] 10 -- 100!"

He offered the same answer when asked how many bottles of champagne he'd popped open."Hundred!" he shouted.
