Although most of the well-known candidates missed California’s first statewide gubernatorial debate, a Bay Area mayor got a chance to tell voters what he's doing in San Jose.

On Tuesday night, San Francisco's Bayview Opera House was nearly packed as seven candidates for governor talked about what they've done for the state in the past and what it means for voters in the future.
