CHRISTIAN MCCAFFREY MAKES HUGE JUMP, LEADS FIVE 49ERS ON NFL'S 2026 TOP 100 LIST

The 49ers have five stars on the NFL’s top 100 players of 2026 list -- with one landing among some elite names in the top 10. Quarterback Brock Purdy (No. 85), linebacker Fred Warner (No. 54), tight end George Kittle (No. 46), left tackle Trent Williams (No. 40) and running back Christian McCaffrey (No. 6) were the five players to make the list, which is voted on annually by fellow players and rolled out by NFL Films throughout the summer.

McCaffrey was the final 49er to be revealed Friday, and he made a massive jump, rising 67 spots in the ranking following a healthy 2025 season. The 49ers are hoping the 2025 NFL Comeback Player of the Year stays healthy and helps them make a deep playoff run this season.
