COVID IS BACK

COVID is once again on the rise around the Bay Area with the highest levels seen in the region since winter. According to the Department of Health, the Bay Area has a high amount of the virus in its wastewater, as does the Sacramento area and the Central Valley.

A lot of the most recent COVID cases are being linked to a new variant known as Nimbus, which surfaced a few months ago. It first caught attention because of a specific symptom described as "razor blade throat." Other symptoms include a fever, body aches and a cough.
