For reasons unexplained, the Warriors’ next game doesn’t count anywhere in the record books. Not in the regular season, not in the playoffs. The NBA play-in tournament is an entity of its own, and one the Warriors are well familiar with.

They’re also well familiar with playing the LA Clippers, whom they lost to in the final game of the regular season on Sunday night. The Warriors and Clippers played each other four times this season. After winning the first matchup in their fifth game of the season, the Warriors dropped the final three.
