CREWS BATTLE RECYCLING FIRE IN SAN MARTIN

A fire ignited Monday morning at a recycling center in southern Santa Clara County, prompting a shelter in place warning.

At about 7:20 a.m., crews responded to reports of a fire at the San Martin Transfer Station at 14070 Llagas Ave., officials said. Initial reports indicate a recycling load caught fire.
